Would I be right in saying that your husband bought these Oscars on impulse? You obviously know that 55 gallons is only big enough for one Oscar, and in my opinion, only barely big enough will stop so keeping three Oscars is not recommended at all. Keeping three Oscars is not recommended anyway, keeping them in such a small environment will just make things worse if you are starting to have aggression problems. Unless you can get a much bigger tanks in, I would seriously think about finding a new home for two of the Oscars and only keeping one. Unfortunately, there isn't really much more to say on this. Your tank just isn't big enough always first.

Sorry I couldn't be more positive

You do need that 100g tank, however i dont think it will solve your problem. I have never kept oscars in 3's but i have heard that with 3 you always seem to get a situation of 2 bullying the 3rd just like you describe- as the old saying goes "3's a crowd". I think you are going to have to rehome one, probably the one that is getting bullied

If you want to try to get them to get along then i would leave the divider in until the albino is healed. Then pop one of the other fish into the albinos side. If after 2 or 3 days they are not damaging each other then pop the 3rd one in with them. Leave for a couple days and remove the divider and see what happens. Expect some aggression between them but if one starts to get damage then its time for one to be rehomed. I dont hold out much hope that they will get along but best of luck and let us know how things go

Hmm.. Oscars generally need a large tank (so check your tank size). And also When Oscars grow, they tend to get territorial and try to attack other fishes in the area. Sadly, all Oscars fight until one or all the Oscars have died. And the Oscar that remains is usually badly injured. I suggest that you give away the some of the Oscars and keep your fav one. This may sound difficult but it helps. If not, get a bigger tank and put more hiding places for them e.g. rock formations, little houses. Hope fully this would help you.
