I have had my two oscars for 2 months now,so Iam guessing they are about 4 or 5 months old? They get really well at the moment,so I was wondering if it means I have a pair.
I know some juveniles do the old lip locking routine,maybe it's just to early for that?

You will have to wait until they sexually mature before you know whether you have a pair. It can take quite a long time, but they are too young at the moment

they can be best friends ....untill they realize they are both same sex ...then usually all hell breaks loose !!!!!

Thanks for that. I did have a feeling they were to young. My tank is a 117UK gallon and although they won't be sharing the tank with any other fish, I think it may be a tad to small for breeding?

I think I've got a fairly fitration set up . I have an eheim 2317 thermofilter and a cheaper filter running in conjunctiion. Between then the water circulates about 4 1/2 times an hour.
