Hey again, I'm the guy who bought an Oscar and stuck it in a gallon tank.

Well after two weeks of living in his new 55 gallon tank, the fish is a lively as ever, from day one of the change to now. His water chemistry is good, everything is in the normal and the fish is a damn pig.

Seriously, I've never seen a fish that wanted to eat more then my Oscar (which is now named Blooper the murder fish, or bloop for short). I can't get the guy to eat pellets , but he loves blood worms, which I'm hoping won't hurt it. If anyone has advice on what to get the fish, I'll be much appreciated. It may be too late though as it now recognizes its food container and rapidly speeds up its swimming into the side of the tank whenever it sees it. It also hates everything decoration wise that is larger then a plant, it refuses to go to that side where it's located.

The other day I bought a pleco to give it a tank mate, all looked good for a while so I went to sleep then work... come home and the pleco was killed and being pecked at by my Oscar.

Seriously, no more fish in that tank with it.

Either way, thats an update. The crazy murder fish is happy and healthy.

Don't get me wrong, it's the best fish I've ever owned!

I don't care if it murdered a pleco, just means he isn't going to have tank mates.
Also, it's the most colorful Oscar I've ever seen, and I'm talking about non-dyed varieties. I'll get pictures when my camera is fixed.

your tiny oscar murdered an armored catfish??? you sure it didnt just die?? lol
my O is 11 inches long and tries to get my pleco any chance he can and dont so much as leave a mark on him.

I don't think you understand the scale upon which this crazed murder fish can wage war.

When I look in that fish's eyes, all I see is a blood thirsty gaze, piercing deep into my soul, ready to rend me apart if I happened to become some sort of water dwelling creature.

This fish came to me in a dream and killed a shark. If you clumped the Spartans, Romans and vikings into one, you'd get a small idea of what you'll be facing.

The murder fish cometh, and its name... is Bloop.

Sounds like you've got an awesome O there. I love cichlids' aggression. My tiger was picking on my pleco too, but pleco was unharmed.
