Somebody was sleeping in the same room as my tank last night and they got woken up twice by huge bangs coming from the fish tank

I'm quite confident that this will heal with no problems whatsoever so I will take another photograph in one weeks time.

like that one time my oscar got in the shootout with the pleco and the pleco shot my o in the gut 8 times and once in the jaw wiht a 9mm and the o just laughed and spit out the bullet in his mouth and crapped an ingot and wentabout his buisness... or was that fifty cent... i forget.

Mine got cut ,not that bad though, when one of my friends put his fingers in the tank to see what my O would do!
He dashed upto him and bashed his head on the glass ledge...
My friend felt sorry for the fish and quit.

when he hit the corral slab. with prestine water and
varied foods ( that i have learn from you), it will heal
in no time

I was once doing some tank maintainence and i lost my footing and i ended up leaning on the cover glass and it broke. A broken piece of glass fell into the tank and gash my oscar. Fortunately it was a glacing blow, however it was about twice the size of your oscars injuries. The injury heal completely with no scarring so your fish will be ok boss!!!!!!!

Oscars are amazingly resilient

they do get rough! my guy was mad at my hubby one morning for not feeding him right away (he was playing video games instead) and started ramming into the tank. I woke up and wanted to know why he was swimming around funny. I think he had given himself a concussion!

man i think my oscar heard about this thread, i was just feeding him for the evening and saw hes got a nice bit of meat hanging off the side of his gill plate, and a few small gouges above that! not sure what he hit... i may need to remove some of my split pots i see one of them is upside down and my stump in the tank is rotated 90 degrees from where it should be. im thinking he was trying to nail my little synodontis. hes a damn brute lol.



the orange specks is from a pellet he was snacking on...
