What are nice things to put in Oscar tanks? Any items that are good for the Oscars?

My personal opinion is to give them something to hide behind, that could be a nice bit of rock, or a nice piece of wood. I've seen Oscars sleeping in great big plant pots before. I'm afraid that I shy away from adding things for them to "play" with. Some Oscars will show an interest in such things as ping-pong balls but this is not playing as some people may think. Oscars are curious fish and will investigate things in their tank.

when decorating your Oscar tank, especially when there are more than one there is one steadfast rule that you should follow. Don't use anything that is sharp that an Oscar can catch itself on. Once Oscars start to fight and chase each other around then they are at risk of hitting them selves on sharp objects. they can end up damaging themselves either externally which could end up becoming infected or even worse damage an internal organ. Large smooth pebbles or rocks and smooth bogwood with no sharp edges and loads of gravel for them to dig around in.
