I some prawns left over from todays very crappy fishing trip and was wondering if they would be ok for my Oscar? They are the froozen type u buy at a bait shop.

Oscars normally like prawns. Just make sure you thaw them out properly

And what fish did you not catch today?

i feed our os prawns they get them 2-3 times a week the frozen ones are put in a cup with warm tank water and left to thaw ,but they prefere the fresh prawns that we buy for our selves but we do like to spoil them ,even enzo our pleco likes to roll them around in its mouth .

I usally feed them prawns that are ment for humans, just wanted to check the ones used for fishing will be fine, i'm sure they will.

Went fishing in Sydney Harbour but due to an impaintent friend we spent more time moving to a better spot or driving round to somewhere different....was quiet amussing actully
Going to go again tomorrow.....Bream, Flathead and Whiting are the most common fish to catch around these areas, although havent had much experience fishing round the harbour....i grew up in the country and fished for Trout in lakes.

lol i dont know of anything that doesnt like to eat shrimp.

my partner went fishng last week and he caught a rays bream he took a picture and it looked like a piranha ,did not know what it was until he went online

lol i just googled that... and ive never seen any fish like that in fresh water lol.

Just gave my O a whole prawn, head n legs incdued but he didnt like it....He took in his mouth for a second then spat it out and it just stayed on the bottom of the tank till i fished it out!
