When i started on this site te boss said my tank is only big enoug for one fully grown oscar.
So i sold my 4 young oscars today and baught home a 15" tiger! Hes orsem.

I cant put pic of him on this thread (dont know why)
But iv uploaded a few pics of him on a new album

yeah hes fine.
He was eating and fighting his reflection as soon as he went in the tank

£50 so about $80 for the new tiger.
Is that cheap or expensive?
I know someone who is giving away arowana for £150 each, really nice ones but i have to get it chipped and tagged so i may buy another tank for him. Apparently their really hard to look after.
V cheap for arowana though they go for thousands when their bigger.

My new tiger is very tame hand feeds and doesn't mind being touched if he comes to top of the tank.

it depends on the color variety and what type of arrowana it is. i have seen silvers go for $12USD before. i also saw one for sale that was 7000USD. it all depends on the genetics of the fish and the coloration and scale patterning.


you will NEVER see me give 7000 dollars for ANY FISH. that could be a down payment on a new truck with a Hemi in it. LOL.

i donated my 7" oscar to my LFS after my larger one decided that it thought it best to kill the smaller one.i went back a day or two later to check on it... and they had it in a tank marked $79.99
they had a albino/leutino whatever... that was around 15 inches, and they wanted 200 dollars for it.
so having said that ive seen them go for more lol. i would say you got a fair price.
