just wondering if anybody has trained their O's to do any tricks.I have seen some youtube vids of some "playing" soccer ! I thought that was too cool !! I think it would be interesting to train them to do something. I saw where a guy and his son trained a goldfish to do the limbo and to swim through a ring ! So if any of you guys ( and gals) have trained yours please let me know ! Im sure they are trained with food !!!

i had mine trained to jump for food... i stopped doing it when it jumped up and landed on the floor. never again. poor girl.

awww! lol ! I hope she was okay ! I know this sounds crazy but...I love all animals but since the last cat my daughter had got in a fight with another cat, got his leg broke and left me broke after a $500 vet bill I decided that cats and dogs are out right now ! So..I really love fish (duh) and my hubby's bearded dragon, I thought well I wanna be able to pet and love and train my fish. silly I know ! How smart are O's ?

i dont condone anybody petting their fish. ive seen it on youtube, i even remarked about it. look for "worf" on youtube, if you read the comments you will tell immediatly who i am lol on there. it could damage their slime coat and open the way for a bacterial infection. its unlikely but completely possible, and for me, thats just not a risk im willing to give my fish.

Very true ! Yeah I've seen Worf. Well I dont wanna put my babies at risk of anything thats not good for them so maybe just watching them come to feed and beg and maybe learning to play soccer (lol) is enough for me

lol my o's best trick is be a fat cow and eat everything she can get in her mouth.

her second best trick is the beat the shit out of the pleco trick.
and her 3rd best trick is bite bash and kill her own reflection trick.

tomorrow she will be training on a new trick, the old poop a lil and chase the convict around trick.

another trick she hasnt quite mastered is a magic trick. shes still working on how to get her big 11" body into that little hole in the stump where my lace synodontis lives... if she ever figures out that trick the little catfish is screwed lol.

LOL!! I starting to understand what everyone is saying about the appetites!! After I finally got them to realise that I am who feeds them, evertime I walk by the tank they are begging !! How can they eat soooo much ?? I finally had to tell my husband to not let me give them anymore treats!!! I dont own them--they own me !! LOL !!!
