I feed my oscars feeder fish every other day or so, I was just wondering if they are good for them. I still feed them Hikari cichlid staple/gold plus freeze dried krill, and meal worms. I buy about 50 feeder fish at a time and put them in an aquarium. I keep them for 2 weeks before feeding to my oscars. In this 2 week period I feed them 3-4 times daily a high quality fish food and before I give them to my oscars I make sure they ate a good meal. I think this 2 week period should make sure they are disease free (I got this from a member on the site) and then by making sure they are well fed will give them the best nutritional value for my oscars. Any Thoughts?

Sounds like you are giving your fish a good diet. Yes, of course they will have nutritional value, you wouldn't have so many predatory fish around that each other fish if they didn't. I think you are sensible to quarantine the fish before giving them to Oscar. However, I personally think insects will probably carry more nutritional value for an Oscar. Male worms grades, I give my mealworms. Cricket is a very good, worms are excellent. Shrimps are also very good because they have roughage in the outer shell.
