On the second day evening I took up my mealworm and saw them turned really red like I can see they do have similar mamalia's bloods. May be one day I shall post a photo regarding my mealworm.
I started feeding my mealworms crushed Hikari pellets and they eat it like crazy.
3 days of Oscars mealworm ration will eat more than 30 pellets in that time and I think i could double the amount of pellets and they'd still be eaten...
I cannot prove how much of the vitamins and other goodies in the food get processed by the worms or how much will actually be beneficial to my O, but I believe it works fine at the moment.
I resolved to this method cuz my O won't eat the pellets.
I did not notice any discolouration in the mealworms though.
