well, i was watching my two oscars and noticed some scales at the bottom.
then all of a sudden, there was splashing in the tank. i hurriedly get my
cam and took some footage. see it for your self.

Takes me 30 mins to watch a 1 min vid, keeps buffering and buffering....

it looks like a serious make out session lol.

perhaps the pixels size of my cam affects the buffering. when i'm using
a 2 megapixel cam, i don't have problem either but when using my wife's
cam with 16 megapixel, i have to reduce the size first.

this was the damage the following morning:

i dunno but it seems like you might have a breeding pair or two of the same sex lol but either way that is pretty harsh, my o's fight its usually frankie getting a few small nicks but that def looks like totally crays i hope everything is going to be ok.

I only have one O and that the first time ive seen an O 'fight'.

jaw locking? are they a breeding pair?

i dont actually think thats too bad, I have never seen a fight before, but given how my cichlids used to behave I'd say these were having a bit of foreplay and nothing more serious...

I could easily be wrong though..

if it continues, especially if one becomes very dominant, then maybe you should consider your options, but for now I'd just watch and keep making the vids lol.

well, the past two days, two of them stays on opposite side but mingle with
each other during feeding time.... so far... very quiet for the moment..
no more splashing.....no more thrashing and bullying...perhaps healing the
sore mouth and gill plate cover
