soooo its been 2 months now...
weekly 30ish% water changes,and a varied diet, keeps him happy as can be..

i do have one question however, exactly what sort of oscar is he?
i assume lutino??

Now, your photograph is a little blurred so it is a little bit difficult to actually make out the fish. What I can say is that if your fish has no pigmentation at all, and has red eyes, then it is an albino. if there is color on the fish somewhere, then it is actually a lutino.

Nowadays, Oscars that are mainly white but may have some color are often referred to as albino, but if you want to be really pedantic, they are actually lutino. Often, white Oscars with color pigmentation do actually have red eyes, but they are still not a true albino

yeah ihe has red toword his tail, but also had red eyes....
the tank at the store said albino red...

If two species of fish are bread, then you are going to get some of each, and also a mixture. Some people would refer to your fish as albino, others wouldn't, at the end of the day, does it really matter? I'm not an expert so I can only keep you my opinion on my understanding of albinism

yeah it doesnt really matter to me, he's mine and thats all that matters

Whats the weather like in SA? been rank hot in NSW

stupidly hot! had 9 days >35 last week, and 2 consecutive days at 43 !

although this week has been pretty cool, raining atm believe it or not lol.

Craig what sort of light do you have in your tank? seems to be quiet bright and heaps reflecting out of the tank aswell.

its 2 fluros, its reflecting out of the tank coz it doesnt have a backing board...
it doesnt look as bright in person, my mobile camera is just gay lol
