how can u tell the differences between the white spot and when ur O gets bumped up a bit and loses scales? just thought id ask

white spot or ick will look like someone took your oscars and covered them with salt. small white spots all over your fish. abrasion on the other hand will be larger and location specific.

necro got you covered..... additional info, missing scales due to scraping
sometimes are mistaken for fungi infection. if it is fungi, there is a visible
lesion around the white spot while if it is an injury, the skin remains visible around the wound.

ok thanks, i used the parasite tablets to treat a small spot on my O but nothin has changed. the other O hasnt caught anything so im thinking its just a little scrape, but thanks for ur help

i alsoo forgot to mention that the behavior on the O has not changed at all. swimming around happily w/ the other O and eating and just never sulky or anything.
