Take an old long light sleeved shirt. Tie the neck and sleeves closed. You now have cheaper, larger and more effective fish catching device. It works and they stay a lot more calm. Anyone have other clever ways to catch a large fish in your aquarium?

typically i will just get a container and corner the fish and dip it and some water out of the tank and immediatly pour it into a large storage bin filled about half full of tank water

Sounds like it always worked for you. I am sure there are a variety of ways to do this. I am interested to hear more

That's so boring for a minute there. I entertained the idea of you standing there with a larger then life net approaching the tank ...trying to pass the time...Any other ways anyone heard of. I figure people can get really creative.

i use power bait and sometimes a nice spinner............................... oh wait you ment something else well that would be just a big net and a half filled tank.
I have lost my mind be back when I find it, maybe.

the best way ive found is to run a 240 volt charge through the water when your fish floats to the top simply lift him out it takes about 2 mins for him to recover lol

Yes,a half filled tank wouldt be a good idea.
I had to catch my upto 12" carp, when I changed to Oscarfish, but had a very hard time and i found out those fish know the inside of the tank better than me!

LMAO, Ronnie Biggs
I just hope you were pulling my leg!
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
