has anybody got any luck feeding tubiflex worms, dried and cut into cubes to their oscar or other fish?? i have 2 BIG cans of these somebody gave me, and nothing i own will eat them except my koi lol. what can i buy that will thrive on tubiflex worms? judging by the size of these cans they would be about 2 years worth of food for a fish or two lol.

they do not like it?
Strange, all my fish will actually eat it, even my plecos.
When my live food is finished, i resolve to feeding some cubes to my o.
my puffer eats a quarter of a cube if he doesn't get a snail.

I have got some of this freeze dried food and I can't say any of my fish are really enamored by it, I really think it's meant for very small community fish. If you put in the water it starts disintegrating after a while and little fish love it

If fed to my O, i just thaw the cubes, and my O will come out of the water with his mouth, like a carp.
I can just drop the tubifex in his opened mouth with a plastic spoon, no kiddin'!
No time to disintegrate.
(lol, could be a Slayer song, no time to disintegrate!)

lol my o will go after it, grab them, kinda mouth it, and spit them out. it just doesnt like them, and none of my other fish show any intrest either. i dunno lol. but yeah... thats a great song nam lol.

edit: lol just went to get said tubiflex worms and i cant find them, they are lost in the miles of boxes that have yet to be unpacked in the move lol.

they are here somewhere, when i find them ill let my puffers try them out.

lol no its not that, i didnt pack them up, and they arent in my stuff, my mom packed them up and everything else that went with the koi tank and i have no idea where it is. that tank actually belongs to my sister, and ive been cleaning and maintenceing it since she went off to college. they eat the stuff sometimes so its in their big box of food supplies, and so far all ive seen come back out of that box was some goldfish flakes and pond pellets. i have all of "my" stuff unpacked lol.

well, you would be excused if it would have been by means of the new tank!
Nice to hear you're unpacked.
Feeling at home allready?
