Recently i bought a small container of super worms for my oscar because i wanted to try out something new towards my oscar's diet, but the strange thing is, every time i feed my oscar the superworms, ick will suddenly start to build up. Although i don't have water testing products at home, i do regular weekly 25% water changes and monthly filter change and cleaning. Before i fed my oscar shrimps, other kinds of worms, crickets, pellets, staples, etc and no signs of ick at all. Had anybody have experience this problem of feeding super worms?

I have never heard of super worms so I had to Google it. However, I can't see how this would cause your fish to develop Ick, or white spot as it's known in the UK.

How are you storing your worms?

Is anything else changing in your tank, temperature of the water etc

that is weird... super worms are beetle larvae,,, and could not cause any ick.
there must be something wrong in your water

what do you mean filter change???? and how do you clean your filter????

super worm/meal worm I think are the same? i am not sure if they are one and the same but look petty much the same. it may be a different name cos they are from a different beetle? someone will know but I will class them as the same. they can cause upset with small oscar/fish as when eaten the worm can bite inside the stomach of the fish until digested. Once your fish grow they will overcome this but with small fish you should/could kill the worm by squeezing head. the biting inside could stress fish a little but I doubt it will lead to ich. most likely the extra protein is leading to water conditions going down, this will lead to ich.

You mean Superworm???

just kiddin'

Superworm or morio worms are larvae of a darkling beetle, for as the mealworms are the larvae od the mealbug.
Morio's are just big mealworms and have just as big nutricional value.
I like them, cuz they're so big, and my fingers are less likely to get bitten.
IMO no way they could have transferred ick or even carried ick.
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

You get ICK from infected fish or water, so i cant see how you can get it from these worms. White spot can occur when fish are exposed to colder water. After a water change do you fill with cold water or water the same temperature as the tank
