Can an oscar have black markings on a white background with out being doctored, and if I were to get a lutino oscar since true albinos are nonexistant, what should I be looking out for other than the usual in looking for fish.

also would this oscar ( www.aquascapeonline.com/prodView.asp?idp...ct=125&item=Wild Oscars 2) stay the coloring into adulhood or is it just juvenile coloration ?

eh my albino really has the pink eyes, but it does still have the tiger markings. it was my understanding a lutino was one with colored eyes ?

yes...i had seen one but it is also very rare

i would look for a good coloring pattern. most grown up oscar alwaysb retain the
pattern when young, they only change the color or become more vibrant

wild or any color posted in aquascape are more on marketing ploy. the one that is
usually caught in the wild sports poor coloring pattern and mostly of black background

that one in the picture...i doubted it was really breed in the wild.

i myself had never seen yet a true albino....but different location had different
version of albino. in my place, any white or yellow color oscar are considered
albino.... from different forum, i got this idea that a true albino should have
no other color except white which you can almost see the veins in the body...
any light color, whether with red eyes or not are considered a lutino strain:

see this pangasius: some people say it is an albino, but i found out there
are plenty of this kind in vietnam and cambodia....

i come to believe that an albino oscar should be as white as that.

this one from aquascape is not an albino as advertised

Although this probably isn't a "wild" oscar as advertised I do love this coloration...is this just a rare color or an unsafe breeding mix? Would love to get one!

that would just be the coloring pattern....when they grow up, those lines
will spot red or orange markings

see this one:
