in my last post, one of my young oscars jumped to his death, so I went looking for a new tank mate for Bonnie the albino. I looed at JDsbut none looked very good. the Severums looked good but very $$$ then I saw a tank with some large oscars that had been returned buy customers who were not prepaired for a large fish, so for just the cost of his room and board over the last month $10 I brought home Clyde 2. he's about 8 inches but bonnie should catch up fast.
So far everyone is getting along and bonnie won't leave his side.. little funny.
Also something I have not seen before.. They have been shaking there fins real fast then stop..
what is this agression love or what?

congrats! chirping is normal... just keep an eye against bullying....
although remotely possible, the new comer won't do that immediately.

if they are swimming around together thats a good sign. the tail shaking can mean both so its not easy to tell you whats on your fish mind. lets hope its love ))). they look a great pair. just keep an eye on them for a few days as 1 could be getting pissed off being close to the other all the time but I don't think this is the case cos some fighting would have broke out by now. good luck with them.
