has anyone ever had or heard of the condition bull nose? i used to be a fish farmer and farmed all kinds of trout.Gold, blue, sexless fish and i know that due to the cramped conditions and fast growth rate bull nosing was common, one of my oscars has this and ive also seen a few in shops the same, its nothing to do with water conditions or tanks size i think its more a gene thing, has anyone else came across this or happen to have one?

Coloration changes are completely normal. However, these fish sadly are often breed the same way. not kept in proper conditions, and we all know some stores could care less about proper care. I too bought a baby O and he died very quickly as after a couple months he hadn't grown at all. I think the treatment of fish, in most stores and breeding facilities is sad and aggravating. Sorry, end rant.
I think as long as he is eating and active, I wouldn't worry!

there is defo nothing wrong with his eating, he`s prob the most agresive fish in the tank, maybe he`s a bit pissed of because he looks like he`s been hit in the face with a frying pan!!

I haven't seen it myself either. Certainly looks like some kind of deformity that the Oscar will have for the entirety of its life. If he's behaving totally normal then I don't suppose there is much you can do about it, I've never seen anything like this I have no suggestions apart from just live with it and enjoy your fish looking rather different from other Oscars.
Sorry about that
