Last n ight I went to my fish store, lucky for me I ended up knowing the owner and he said he's give me anything for 25% off! So I'm thinkin about getting a 180 gallon with a stand for $900 and/or a 120 long as hell tank for 700 with tank and stand. Anyyyyyways, I purchesed some bloodworms and replaced my mealworms with waxworms. Now mind you my oscars are picky and eat slowly and they're choosey. I threw in some bloodworms and holysh!t!!!! The oscars acted like they haven't eaten in months. Also the wax worms were torn apart. It was like thanks giving for all of my fish, bloodworms, waxworms, and ghost shrimp! They all had fat bellys when they were done. If you haven't givin your oscars bloodworms yet, try it, they'll be happy. Also they seemed to like the waxworms a bit more than the mealworms.

Mine love the bloodworm too. but good luck with the wax worms... mine wont eat then.

I'd say go for the 180.
i never tried waxworms, but I'm sure mine would like those.
If it's a worm and it moves, it's eaten.

mine love bloodworm, i get the frozen ones and just drop the cubes in, I give them one each as a treat and they just eat them frozen, I guess its like a lolly (a popsickle for our American members lol)

wax worms tend to be sweeter than meal worms, tonight my o`s had salmon, the way i do this is get the trimmings and throw it in, tonight was a hole salmon head then my o`s just rip it apart
