so ive just come accross this site in the US that have three kinds of oscars that i have never seen.

platinum oscar,gold oscar & wild oscar that really caught my eye can anyone tell me if they have seen these before as they are really beutifull.

I saw this site too. I live about 3 hours from this place I want to go take a look at them. They swear they werent died or paint fed.

i questioned them on they whole dying thing to as i was looking at getting them fedex'd here to NZ but due to the import regulations here in NEW ZEALAND its gonna cost me approx $500 just to bring 2 O's in.

what a rip off coz they r really nice looking O's

The first one is a common oscar about an inch long. Its what they look like when small. I bought one once thinking that looks different and as it grew it changed colour and turned into a tiger. I havent seen one like the second, however it looks like a variety of the red oscar.

i acctually see it now it does look like juvie but with the way they took the photo it looks great like a white and silver oscar would look great if they could keep those colors though

To me the gold Oscar looks like its going to be a red Oscar it will probably change colour as it grows just like the Oscar in the other picture will turn into a red tiger

Jeff Rapps also sells gold oscars from time to time...personally, i prefer the normal red coloration.
