i got a little 10 gal tank for guppies how long do i let it cycle for i have had it for 3 days and have had gold fish in there from the start and there all alive lol

Read the home page about cycling... it's the same no matter what your putting in the tank IMO.

I actually do not use a filter on my Guppie tanks.
I just fill the tanks up with fast growing waterplants and floating plants.
The plants will thrive on the fish poo, and the Guppies love a tightly planted tanks.
just regular waterchanges and gravel tidying and they breed like crazy!
I do not take the baby's out and just let nature take it's course.
The tanks are allways filled with all sizes Guppies and I'm actually mixing some colours right now, to see what comes out.

ok so they will love live plants how long do you think i should let it cycle for or it dont need it ?and do you have a pic of it

I would do as the article on cycling says. Just keep testing your water until your readings are what they should be. Can't really say cycle for X number of days as cycling can very depending on the tank. There isn't a time limit...basically when your water readings are where they should be its considered cycled.

another good thing is that guppies are pretty tough.
They can handle waterquality that could very easily kill an Oscar.
They'll probably survive the whole cycle without problems.

ok then well i dont have no money till i get paid which is another week so it will cycle for another week lol if i start with 4 femals and 2 males will they go alright

You could test and wait some weeks, but IMO they should be fine.
Get some nice colours that you like, for their offspring will have mixed features.
And get them some fast growing plants, they'll love that!
You are gonna rehome the goldfish, before you get the guppies?
If not, the fry will prob be eaten by the goldfish.
The guppie parents must be watched as well, for they may eat their young as well.
Mine breed constantly, so i don't mind some fry being eaten.
