I have been noticing some odd behaver with my oscars. there has been lots of quivering of the tails last week or so.last night the one started quivering it's whole body. and today the same, with wide open mouthing of a rock,and has dug through the gravel down to the glass. has heightend agression towards foam filter,and both oscars are showing more aggresion toward irridesent shark. there appears to be something hangout about 1/8" or so from under the one doing all the work. am maybe going to be expecting babys or is there something wrong. the oscars are about 6years old, and all my years with oscars i have never seen behaver like this.also the one doing the work it's tail and bottom fin keep turning bright yellow. it is a black tiger,and the other red aldino.

i think i answered my own question, in the time it took me to type the question i returned to the tank to find little white eggs on the rock and glass he was cleaning.

yep lol my tiger oscar which is female also goes yellow along the underside for sumreason as they are ready to lay ect and the quivering hahaha male constant cleaning bless him still waiting on my eggs they ate the first so no lights on for a week this time

any advice for me? i hope they make it, if they do make should i move them babys to a seperate tank and if so at what size/age.lights? on or off, sounds like you plan to leave em off, i have kept mine off all day.
