i just finished cleaning my tank and before i put bud in i measured him LOL and bud is now 15.5 cm just over 6in so happy i got him when he was 5cm 2in so happy he has grown so much and just had him over 2 months will post pics when he turns 3 months old LOL sorry if my posts are annoying just happy about his progress

Cool! My oscar is roughly 5 inches right now and i can't wait to see him grow either!

you will love it its so good watching them grow his eating like a pig now LOL

posting info like that is not annoying at all. it will give others an
idea to do the measuring when the opportunity is available.

but i am just wondering, why did you removed the fish from the tank.
is it due to the cleaning activity? constant netting of fish could
stress the fish and may affect his over all character. i clean my tank
with all the fishes in there....

this is the 1st time i did it and it was only cause i cleaned the whole tank out is already taking food and his himself dont know if that matters lol

okey...good to know your fish is not affected....did you clean the filter too?
and how? i just want to know to make sure. if you wash all the filter in tap,
you will have problem in the next few days.

yer i did clean them but i had a bucket full of the dirty fish water that i ahd started to clean and i just squeezed the sponages in that is that ok?? and if i start to give bud 2 feeds with pellets and the rest with mealworms/brineshrimp everyday will that be ok or not

what you are doing must be good, otherwise, it will not grow
that much. keep it up and post monthly updates. post picture too.
