Here is a photo of my lemon oscars. They are a little different then I thought. The flash whitens them a little but you can still see how they have the same markings of a normal oscar just gold not orange and they are yellow in color. They are much more yellow now then when I first got them and are getting more like the lemons I saw in photographs. You can also see my unknown redish/pink oscar in the back they all get along really well even though he is the smallest in the bunch. Right now since they are at most 1.5" they are in my 30 gallon tank until my larger one is completely cycled. I didn't pay all that money to poison them and for 2-3 weeks this should be fine. Eventually I am putting all 6 of my oscars together in hopes they will breed. A pink lemonaide oscar would look pretty nice, eh? Maybe even a bumble-bee tiger? Who knows!
Enjoy

Will be interesting to see them change in the next few months, keep the photographs coming once a month maybe

Those lemons look like an albino tiger oscar but with lighter coloured stripes. The lemons i have seen on websites tend to be like a red oscar but with lemon colours instead of the red colour. It will be good to see how they grow up. Not seen that sort before. The red one in the background looks superb

I really hope he does too, he is so pretty. I am starting them on crickets, meal worms, krill, shrimp and pellets so they wont be fussy eaters plus most of these bring out their natural colors!
