Take my advice and don't introduce them to feeders at this age, you run the chance of them refusing any other type of food. You've also got to bear in mind that this type of food is not the best to feed your fish. You're much better off feeding them on a staple diet of good quality pellets such as Hikari Cichlid Staple, they will get all the nutrients and vitamins they need from this type of food, you can then supplement this with treats such as blood worm, shrimp or krill etc.

Leave things until tomorrow, oscars can take a while to digest large food, i doubt it will be stuck, he will spit it out eventually if he cant swallow it. If its still stuck tomorrow then you will have to remove it- post on here and we tell you what to do

Forget feeder fish, try a worm. I toss a worm in now and then as a treat, and my oscar inhales it. He'll sit there for about 10 minutes with half the worm hanging out of his mouth as he slowly ingests the whole worm.

Pellet food is definatly the way to go though. Feeder fish are like junk food for fish.
