I used to have blennies that I caught at the beach that would actually swim into my hand and let me lift them out of the water.
It is nice when your pets see you as the bringer of all good things!

I petted my O once and one minute later he comes back to bite me hard.
He sure made it clear we have a "No touchin policy" now
I do not pet my Oscar anymore...
He still bites me though!

in my case i used to touch the two pangs.... feels great with their size.
the problem is when they were poke a little bit, darted away and almost
broke the glass wall....but every now and then, i still touch them...oscar?
nah...they draw blood on my arm.... aro? it hurts more due to jaw size!

nemo is not feeling well...thus, you can pet him.... i hope he just get
well soon.

lol my lemon oscar will let me pet it. my big one, which looks to be about twice teh size of yours, would prolly try to take my finger off, i dont get that close to its face to be honest. i mean ive been hand feeding them... and they dont bite me too bad most of the time, but... that big oscar has bitten me and drawn blood before so im like noddy really, i try not to pet it. its not really good for any fish to touch them really. it disturbs their slime coat which could make it easier for the fish to get sick or get a parasite like ick or whitespot.

btw, nice looking oscar you have there!
