Yin & Yang L O V E them, i bought a box of small ones today, tried them when i got home and they went mad for them, they weren't shy or anything, i do wonder if they been fed them before? and my question is, i know bugs / insects are a big part of thier natural diet, so how often do i feem them crickets?
they are now constantly checking ther surface, i only put 6 in, and a few bits of cricket shell that got scraped out of the box, nothing is left. not a scrap lol

I suppose it depends on how big the crickets and your fish are. If they are fairly big crickets then I would imagine your fish would probably be quite happy with three or four in one session. If they are quite small, than they could probably scoff quite a few. I think it's a little bit difficult of us to actually tell you exactly how many, I would just play it by ear and give your Oscars are a fair few Oscars for their meal, they then should get enough. Don't be fooled by Oscars, they will always act like they are hungry, that is just what they are like.

I would just buy a box and my O would eat several a day for a week.
Crickets are fancy and expensive food over here, but after having some escape and drive me crazy, i stopped feeding them to my o...
He ate all sizes, until i got some Big @$$ grasshoppers for him, but he didn't even try them.
That was a bit too much.

Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

my buddy wayne runs a bait shop 2 minutes down the road from my old house, and i was getting mine daily, and the only bad thing about it, after a week, you can see every crickets leg that it ate, on the bottom. its like the o's digest the crickets body but it seemed to me that it either didnt digest or spit out the back legs. so there alwasy seemed to be alot of cricket legs on the bottom of my tank. i dont really feed them anymore, like noddy said, once you get a few loose in your house, they can drive u nuts lol.

well round here, a box of 50+ small crickets is 3 quid. best of all, they're silent ones too
its funny when the crickets see the oscars comin and try to swim away, which attracts the oscar even more!!!
if they would survive the posting, i'd send them out at no proffit to my self. as long as u pay postage & packaging and the cost of the crickets i have no problem.
