Hey all...I just bought some frozen silverside fish (small, elongated fishes from the ocean, an excellent source of marine protein and oils for predatory carnivorous...vitamin-fortified Ocean Nutrition Silverside is also a good food item for anemones, shrimp, crabs, and other carnivorous invertebrates.) I've heard they're good treats and pretty healthy? Anyone have any tips for feeding?

1. Should I soak/defrost them in warm tankwater first for a bit to defrost as per usual?

2. I assume I should break them into manageable chunks?

Ah. Nevermind. dropped a small one in after a quick soak and he knew what to do.

1 bite...2...gone. He seemed to REALLY enjoy it.

He's just had a tank rearranging so he's got giant mealworms, silverfish, corn, and pellets as a thanks for making this relatively painless and not ripping up the plants or sulking too much.

Me I don't eat silverside fish or giant mealworms personally.

my gar eats those all the time, but my o doesn't care for them.
never seen the brand silvers you got, allthough all my other frozen stuff is from that brand...
i gotto see if i can get those, i'm in for a new bag.

My tiger just loves them. He likes mealworms...tolerates pellets...but he goes apeshit over these guys. I just have to space em out bc I dont want him to get spoiled. He still needs his pellets most.
