I have a small tiger oscar and he just got over a infection about 2 weeks ago. In the time after it i have been noticing that his eyes have changed from solid orange to two-tone, blue and orange. I dont know if this is a sign of another infection, or a side effect of the medication that he was in.. I am kind of worried that he could have something wrong with him. Just because i dont know what is normal.

possible he could have got some kind of burn, maybe from the meds/water condition,
keep away from any more meds at the moment and keep your water in A1 condition,
and hopefully............

if i may ask, what medicine did you apply? any idea how it get infected?
my oscar had a two tone eyes too... blue outer layer and orange in the
center.... if that is what you mean, pehaps it is the normal eyes of your o.

I rescued the oscar from a friend of mines tank who has been the hospital and couldn't take care of her fish anymore. But, anyways, it already had the infection. It lost a part of it outer skin and had a fungus growing on it. I had it in a hospital tank with victoria green and acriflavine. As for your oscars eye coloured, there are more top half blue bottom have orange.

Hopefully it is just the way that his are really are. And Thanks for the advice. I got him out of the medication so hopefully he is fine.

As long as the fish is feeding and you keep your water good i wouldnt worry too much, but keep a close eye (pun intended) on things to make sure things dont get worse
