I have seen quite qa few oscars that have a beak look to their head. The normal rounded area is indented and they look like a bird. To me this makes them look sickley and I have bought babies with this but after feeding a varied good diet it goes away. Why do some oscars have this, and why does it seem to go away if you feed them correctly? Is it a deficientcy in a vitamin/nutrient?

Hm, I haven't seen that neither yet, wouldn't have thought it can change again (afraid I even said the opposite in another thread). But if it goes away with a good diet like you said, then I'd really suspect a deficiency problem, makes sense to me.
Remembering that I got two angelfish once, and one was way smaller and had a head like that (way more than they usually have). It seemed healthy otherwise but was dead one morning, no idea why really.
If I were a guy, I\'d have probably needed only 30% of the amount of words to say this
