hey guys one of my oscars over the last few days has had like pink poo.
its not stringy and hang off him its just like normal poo but pink and looks to be softer almost breaking up in the current. now just today he was having a feed of sinking pellets and was chewing them up then wait a bit and he spits it back up now this is all he eats and likes up to date apart from sum guppies every month or so.
this also makes a big mess when he spits them out.

water is good, temp fine. apart from that his acting normal a bit more shy.
will still try take a finger when i feed him.lol

any one had this poo b4??

don't worry, that is normal...there will be times you could mistaken
the pooh as an earthworm...

grabbing, crushing, and spitting food is normal too. just don't give too
much food to lessen bioloads. it is growing will soon move everthing
inside your tank..

At that age, they don't require as much food. So that may be why he is chewing and spitting!

Oscars poo will vary depending on what you feed them. When i feed hikari cichlid gold (pink food) my oscar has pink poo
I can't get no sleep

I have observed the same as delboybully - hikari cichlid staple = greenish poo; hikari massivore delight = brown poo
