TOPIC: A sad day for tommy and frank

A sad day for tommy and frank 2 years, 2 months ago #84933

Well I thought i should explain why i have not been around much if anyone even noticed. I have lost my fish a few months ago to the worst thing to happen ever. I was robbed a while back and someone came in looking for things to sell what ever but ya the one day i decided to take my dog and laptop out with me on my errands and well they broke in and stole a bunch of things and i guess they were after my computer and a few things they did take but long story short someone busted the glass on my 90 gal tank with my fish in it and i was gone the tank drained and fish died so ya well im so pissed of and sad that i lost two guys that have been around for like forever and now they are gone.
I have lost my mind be back when I find it, maybe.

oh that sucks!
but come to think of it, there are times you have to convert negative
incident into a positive one. what if you were around and the robber/s
really are desperate and kill your dog and you? what if you were around
and you killed the robber/s. both ways ...nobody win.

in your case, you lost your fish but you can start another one...instead
of feeling bad about it, be thankful you were not around, perhaps things
were turn out really bad....

chin up and start a new one...

I understand your anger.
If the moral rules are broken, or your family or animals are hurt, you are hurt yourself.
Nothing to do but start over with a new tank.
But i understand new fish will be something different.
I wish you the best and all prosperity for the future!
Chin up!
Keep going!

wow, that has to be tough!,,dirty buggers..sounds like kids, prob thought it would be neat to bust the glass too!...with a 90 gallon tank, what damage did the water do?..hopefully it was in the basement and near a drain??....i know if my 55 gallon busted, it would create havoc!!!...anyway, i was brokng into also, a few years back,,,,took awhile to lose that "weird ,strange feeling" of violation, but it will go away, so better thoughts ahead for you!...larry
