Does it looks part of the fish, or something wrong? I'm wondering if it's got something to do with the lateral line but I'm not sure what you're talking about. Maybe you could take a photograph with the flash, it may show up

Doesn't sound like anything is wrong. If you could take a photograph maybe point out the parts of the fish that you are talking about, it may be easier to understand your query.

My Baby Tiger Oscars are changing colors almost every other day it seems. They went from Black and Cream to dark green and faint pink to almost an irredescent copper and greens etc. I didn't pay too much attention to the tag where I purchased them (it didn't matter, I wanted these two) but now I am wondering if these might not turn out to be Red Tigers after all. The coloring seems to be getting more intense and vibrant almost daily. Does amyone know what dark green body with pinkish copper usually results in? Now I'm curious as to what variety these really are.

I am somewhat dubious when I see fish advertised as "red tigers" "Tiger albinos" etc etc. you would have to see the parents to know exactly what you are going to get. I would just wait till they're adults have reached the colour they are going to get.

In your expert opinion (I'm kidding but yet I am sure you are as much expert as I need on the subject), at what age or better yet, SIZE will I know what I am going to have here? Have you ever seen fish that resemble what I described above? What did they turn out to be? I know for sure these are Tigers but the coloration right now is dark green - blackish with bronze / copper streaking throughout. The streaking is getting almost irredescent.
