I have recently gotten a Bearded Dragon. The little bastard eats more food a day then all my fish combined. My feeding expensive are getting a little high. I did a little bit of homework, and alot of reptile keepers are switching to Dubia Roaches. For about $100 I could start a decent size Dubia colony that should produce enough to feed my Beardie and hopefully my fish. Are Dubia Roaches a decent feeder for fish?

I did a little research. They have more protein then crickets and less shell which cannot be digested. Can anyone else weigh in on this? Penn?

actually, there is a topic about it in National geographic but not as food
for fishes but as hobbyist pet... and i could not withstand seeing the boy
having those roaches all over his body and enjoy the tickling effect of the
insect.

in the aro site, it is being considered as aro food...yes..equivalent to
grasshopper and crickets... thus...if you fancy raising them like feeder
fish, i believe that would be okey.... anyway, their reproductive system
is very high and you can have a million of them in a year time. a single
female could remains fertile for life. all you need is afood source and
water in any closed container
