I'm sorry, I forgot what the "tank thing" was.

Cloudy eye can have several reasons, from injury over poor water quality to bacterial infections (for the mentioned reasons or other).

So what are your water parameters please, if you know? It sometimes goes away again with keeping the tank and water real clean and maybe adding some aquarium salt temporarily. However if it doesn't, you might want to get a treatment against bacterial infections. In case it is white fuzzy stuff on the eye rather than "milky" that might be a fungus then, but that is often a secondary infection to a bacterial one in my experience.
If I were a guy, I\'d have probably needed only 30% of the amount of words to say this

I have had mixed experience with cloudy eyes. If the eyes are just cloudy and NOT bulging then you should be ok. Its usually a bacterial infection. I had this in a fish in both eyes. I used myxazin and dosed it daily. It took 2 weeks to cure and the fish didnt eat in those 2 weeks

If the eyes are bulging then in my experience things are a lot worse. I have had it 3 times, one survived and the other 2 times the fish died

As metoo says cloudy eyes are usually cause by fighting or poor water quality, either way the cause should be rectified. If it poor water quality then its lots of water changes, if its aggression then separation is needed
I can't get no sleep
