TOPIC: Mealworms and an awkward moment..

Mealworms and an awkward moment.. 2 years, 1 month ago #91012

Okay this is kind of a silly story but..

My Oscar Benny is new to MealWorms. I fed him about 3 Mealworms earlier in the afternoon and now just finished giving him his dinner. I witnessed when he was taking a dump the worms looked just like they were when I gave them to him. Then he proceeded to eat it. HAHAH silly? I don't know... Should I be worried? or is this normal? lol

If your O is greedy when feeding he will not chew correctly, and the worms will not be fully digested.
My SD's love to eat those half digested foods.
You could try a smaller size mealworm, but there's no problem if he's not digesting them completely.

hmm,. havent really had that prob with worms, but they will suck up poo in a heart beat if they think its food. But when they realize it, they spit it back out. Must have been partially digested if he ate it up. Probably swallowed whole without chewing one bit.. lol
