my oscar has a swollen abdomen and can only swim sideways it has been like this for a couple weeks i thought he just had ate to much but now he just stays at the top and is bent like in half can anyone help?

1. Have you seen your Oscar poop?
2. How big is your Oscar?
3. Do you have a water test kit and can you tell me what your readings are for Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and PH?
4. What has your Oscar been eating?
5. Can the Oscar swim normally at all?

i havent really paid attention to see if he has pooped but i think so i put epsom salt in the tank to relax him he is about 5 inches long and not at this time am i able to give you the reading of the tank i normaly feed him feeders or pellets there is also another oscar in the tank with him he is fine the still fight and play and sometimes he swims normal but the last couple days hes just been at the top he tries to catch the feeders but mostly the pellets are easier for him to get

hmmm does he have trouble swimming to deeper water? could be swim bladder problem... not sure though...doesnt sound good
