Is there anyone out there that hates hole in the head disease as much as me? I did a pub med and medline search on hith and could only find two randomized studies that have looked at the problem. Both were from the early 2000's. Anyone know of any other articles and studies regarding hith. Treatments that have worked? I have heard just about every possible theory and remedy regarding this, and have prob tried them all too... just curious what's out there and trying to generate discussion.

Thankfully, it's not something I have had to deal with many times. I think you have probably exhausted your efforts and found what information there is to be found, I'm certainly not aware that they have come up with a 100% medication that will cure hole in the head like some other medications do with other diseases.

I suppose at the end of the day we can only carry an encouraging people to keep their fish in suitable conditions. I think we are going to be here for a long time yet before we have educated everyone about the correct way to keep Oscar fish.
