ok last couple days my oscar is attacking the glass in the bottom corner he openning his mouth wide like he wants to lip lock and moving his tail alot kicking up the gravel. I found vid on you tube of one doing same thing just wondering why?

Well, the first impression would be he is thinking his reflection is another oscar...did you change the lighting at all recently? I have my light hood tilted back to darken the tank a bit, and when I put it fully down to look inspect something he gets stressed a bit by the sudden brightness, changes color, and goes after his reflection. He rarely does this when the light is dimmer.

do you have kids?, if so do they hit the glass a lot, i have seen a fish do this once before, because it was at a restaurant, and a lot of little kids had been tapping the glass.

Bio, mine do this too when they can see their reflection. I wouldn't worry about it!

my albino will do that when I put my hand in to move something. Bu it does that at my hand and after it has to inspect what I did and then adjust it to its liking
