i was at walmart not long ago and as always i be lined to the fish dept to see what carnidge they had and low and behold a grey and black oscar prodominatly it was grey with black tiger marks on it i stayed there in aw thinking this wasnt true it changed shades but held the colors grey and black only colors

sound to me like the wild or wild caught variety.
The ones they sell over here and pretty dull and grey in colour.
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

I wish I had room at the time because I like that color though the one I saw was opiset colors then yours but no room at my tanks at that time. Now that I have room I cant find one its all good though thanks for the picture looks way cool

I have seen them before too. I believe the LFS called them "Common Oscars".
