I caught my TO chief a little 4 inch lizard and he demolished it. The little lizard at first didn't interest chief untill it tried to run on water then it was destroyed.

Can I ask you Chief? Why did you feed a LIZARD.... to your Oscar?

What was the motivation for giving him something like that? Is there some nutritional value behind it for your fish that we are unaware off.

Let us know...

A lizard is an....odd dinner choice to say the least, but I'm sure it's similar to feeding pinky mice. (The only live things my fish ever get are bugs, and the rare fish. Even then I have a hard time feeding them fish. lol)

I'd be concerned about potential diseases, and the claws the lizard had though. I can't imagine there are very many diseases that fish and reptiles can pass between each other; but you just never know....
If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?

Wow i am sorry if i made anyone sad with what i did but there is huge difference between feeder fish and a lizard caught in the wild. I just thought my little fishie would enjoy a treat, since i live in the desert and they are everywhere. fish love lizards (don't worry not the ones as big as a iguana), if you don't believe me put one in your tank

I would not even think of doing it here in the uk i think you may get taken to court and banned from keeping animals
