okay first nats 0.5.. nit0 ..ammonia 2.0.... i know bad ammonia, if you remember 3 weeks ago i lost all my nats due to excessive cleaning, so im trying to restore order lol, well im using api ammo lock, plus stress zyme, ive also put fluval ammonia remover pack in my filter and ive not done a water change for two weeks , just last saturday i did one bucket gravel clean, waking up this morning one fish has this it wasnt there yesterday, it is more like peeling sunburn, dont have all my light on, just one bar, could it be the heater or could this, i dont want to say the word ...h should i start doing water changes :blink
Did this injury suddenly appear, or did it gradually get worse? I can't really get a good look at it on your video but it does rather look like a superficial injury, maybe the Oscar has banged itself on something in your tank
I may not always be right, but I am always the boss
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved
I'm almost certain that the Oscar has just whacked itself on something. When this happens you normally get some of the skin just hanging off, a little bit like sunburn as you said.Keep using the ammo-lok if there is ammonia still present as this will aid in the healing, you may find that fish will not heal that well if the water conditions are not good and the last thing you want is a secondary infection

Looks like it's been removed. That's a shame, this video could help other people at the end of the day, you get loads of space with YouTube so there really isn't any problem with leaving videos where they are. You could always put the video back and edit your post. Because really, this post is meaningless now the video is not there.

Nicki gave you sound advice until your tank is cycled. Keep us informed hun.... Jamie

My oscars get injuries quite often and in a few days its gone ... keep water in good conditions and that will do the trick !!
Your O probably just banged its head. Mine does that too. I think at night it chasses anything that moves and runs into things. It should heel up fine.
