While shopping for my new Oscar, one of the LFS's I went to, had one tank of small Oscars. I noticed that one had what appeared to be blisters over it's eyes. You could see it's eyes through it but the blisters looked like they would rupture at any second. They appeared to have a light cloudy look to them as well. It looks perhaps like a blister you would get on your hand or foot. Is this what is called cloudy eye or pop eye?
Needless to say I won't be buying my Oscar there. I'm trying to learn as much as possible on diseases and conditions before I purchase my new Oscar.
I've seen this before. I think it possibly has something to do with either stress, or the change in water conditions. If it is what I'm thinking of, they normally clear up before too long.
I may not always be right, but I am always the boss
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved
