As you know in my recent postings I had water problems. I have done 3 changes and my levels are back to where they should be...

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
PH 7.8
Nitrate 40
Temp 80.6

However, Bubba, my tiger has some white markings. Everyone is eating and swimming nicely with no real fighting that we see. I video taped them overnight and didn't notice them doing anything. They are no longer floating at the top gasping for air as previously posted. Here is a video of what Bubba looks like.

Looks to me like some missing scales and some boo boos. Could have injured himself scraping between decorations, or maybe they got into a tiff of sorts. Keep and eye on it, and if it starts to look fuzzy in the least bit, dose the tank! Sherman has a few missing scales, due to trying to squeeze his fat ass between the glass and an acrylic treasure chest. They're unsightly, but they don't seem to bother him.

That is what I was thinking... thank you for taking the time to respond. Apparently I have cooties... no one else took the time to help me out.

LOL You don't have cooties!

Anyway, I couldn't see anything in the video. Maybe I'm just blind... The fish looked happy and healthy and fine to me!

I would go with what Jenni said. At least she can see what you're talking about!

Thanks... I have had cooties before on this site! Just kidding!!

There are some white areas on his fins near where they attach to his body. The quality isn't great because the water was a little messy - thanks to my JD's that were playing and stirred things up!!

Well thank you Noddy for responding to this to my email. It is HITH... sadly you are correct.

Seriously... do I have cooties? I can't believe that Jenny and Noddy were the only people to respond (thank you!). Guess it doesn't matter... now I have to try to save a very sick fish. Jenny and Noddy.. thanks again !

the data shows you just meet the limit but still critical.
i believe you have done another water change, if not, you need
to, otherwise, the protozoan and white spot will remain. the temp
must be kept that way for 5 more days.

40 ppm is the limit where one need a 50% water change. sorry for not
answering immediately.

I missed this thread, brooksie, while i was on my vacation weekend, but became worried after checking your YouTube channel last afternoon.
Just keep up with the waterchanges, and he will heal in time.
It may leave some scars, though.

Brooksie, that sucks! Glad that Noddy caught it, because it could have gotten really gnarly if you'd listened to me and the other Jenny. =( Now I feel like a crappy fish owner.

Don't feel that way at all... that one can be hard to detect with a video like mine. I'm working on fixing him up!

Hang in there Brooksie. A little patience and some water changes will help tremendously. You do not have coodies and are a good Oscar keeper.
