i went all the way to the pet shop this morning for bloodworms, stoped to talk to the guy there, told him about my oscars, he told me they play with anything you put in the tank, like bouncy balls, and plastic tops "which i wont try", he also said try puting fozen peas , so i put 4 frozen peas in to see them play with them before they eat them, i allways waited until defrosed before giving, had to laugh because as soon as i put them in they gulped them down,now neither one will let them go all you can see is these peas poking out, the way he told me i had visions of them playing football for awhile, had to laugh xxxx

First time i stumbled across this site, was when i was looking for toys for oscars.
I tried a pingpongball floating in the tank, AND MY FISH TOTALLY FREAKED!!!
I made a hole in the ball so it sunk and my fish even freaked more and allmost tried to bail the tank.
Thats when i decided to quit teasing my fish with toys, but now they toy with everything i put in the tank during maintenance.
And i'm constantly telling them to move to the other side of the tank.

thats made my day lol xxxx

my O loves to eat peas. I just drop one frozen pea at a time because once they hit the bottem he is no longer interested in them. He probably gets really disapointed when he thinks its a fresh pea and its a terd I know i wouldn't eat them on the bottem of the tank either because his pea poo is like us with corn

Someone posted a youtube video of a sinkable ball and he put a small netted goal in the tank too. And the oscar played with the ball and put it in the net.... darnest thing I ever saw with fish keeping... lol
