I live in Michigan and there are a ton of fishable lakes and rivers only minutes from my house. As one can assume, with fishing so big around here, there is a bait shop on every corner. There is even a bait vendor maching at a gas station near where I live, yes like a pop/soda machine, but it sells live bait. They sell everything from live worms, gubs, may flies, crickets, leeches and every size of minnows. I guess my question would be for the later two. Once I get my tank cycled (which is taking a long time by the way, I'm on week 1.5 and still no Nitrite), can I feed an oscar bait fish or leeches? All the minnows and leeches (also have crayfish) are caught locally and are not mass breed on farms and I can choose any size minnows from the very small to like 3 inchers!

Just wondering if there was any reason why I should not use these. Thanks!
