Hi there! ive obtained a new tank for my 2 oscars...... although ive messured it , it seems quite big im not sure if im messuring it correctly .... its a jewel corner tank , no other name on it apart from that .,, messuring from the inside it reads
L 51 inches h 21 inches w 32 half. the width part i messured from the back corner to the middle of the front is that correct? as the calculation i got for the tank volume works out as 127.5 uk gallons! surely that cant be correct?

That works out to 97.5 US Gallon - also called a 100 gallon tank. When tanks are measured they rarely measure out exact gallon. Always been that way and likely always will. My 150 actually works out to 146 gallons and my 100 works out 103. When you set up a tank you displace enough water that you don't get the advertised gallons anyhow.

I am not aware of any Jewel aquariums that exceed 100 gallons. Is it one of those that fits into the corner over a room, the filter is located right in the back?

Well then, it is possibly a Trigon 180 or 350. The 180 is around 55 gallons, the 350 is around 77 gallons. Can you post a photograph?

I have messured the tank correctly, its is in inches and used a fish tank calculator to do it online. ive posted a picture of it as my profile page, hope that helps.

I can't really tell from the photograph which when you have got. The 350 is 4 foot wide, and 24 inches high if that helps.

350L works out to approx 93US gallons and 77UK gallons
