So I setup, filled and decorated (somewhat) my 210L tank and.. its backwards (yeah ha ha ha).

The corner cutouts of the lid are at the front and theres no room at the back for leads.. or canister filter tubes.

I don't know if I could put my fish through it all again.

What would jesus do?

i think you have to take out all the water and put the tank in the right way:silly: ! otherwise it won't look good!
100 US Gallon Tank - 1 Tiger Oscar (Tiger);
1 Common Pleco

30 Gallon Tank - 4 Angels (1 Veil Tail, 1 Albino, 2 Marble)

We have all done similar things by putting something on backwards. Only thing to do is start again but the right way round this time!!!!
I can't get no sleep

Son of a binface.

If i go ahead and do this (when my clown loach fully recoveres from ich) will it affect the water parameters

I certainly don't envy you. I just set up my 150 and because my husband wanted the tank as close to the wall as possible, its now to freakin close to do anything the way I want to or need to. But babe......lol. Yea! but it's my hobby and I maintain it. Gosh, sometimes.....
I don't know how much water I will have to empty in the not so near future but I do or would like to move it a little.

Anyways, I would change it too and good luck. You will be happy you did.

First, let me hahaha a bit
That sucks, I'm just glad my tanks are the same from both sides, bet I would have done that somewhen already. Think I'd turn it around as well, else it might annoy you for years. Well, I'm sure it won't happen to you a second time

About effecting the water parameters, has the tank been trough the nitrogen cycle yet? If the water parameters are fine by the time you go for it, I'd save as much of water as possible and keep the filters running in some bucket or so while working on it; then I wouldn't expect any problems really.
If I were a guy, I\'d have probably needed only 30% of the amount of words to say this

Its a brand new tank with an old filter. It has been going for a little over a week but the water quality is fine.

Oh I nearly did that when I set up my tank, I had it backwards because it was an old displsy tank so there were a couple of small scratches on it, which I faced at the back, only to realise when I started to put the gravel etc in that it was aroiund the wrong way!! That really sucks!

Its hard to fly like an eagle when you are surrounded by turkeys
