OK so any of you that have been around for a while know about the tank dubbed "The Sieve"... Anyway last night I noticed a wet spot on the floor... This damn tank is leaking AGAIN!!!! I will attach the original thread for those who don't know, and the last repair thread 9 months ago...

There is NO reason for this leak and I am at a loss. But I am going to rearrange some fish and leave the Sieve empty for now... But I just thought I would vent to people who understand....

ow, i remember the troubles before, and i wish things were different now...
Do you think maybe it has to do with the original design of the sieve?

As you know i had trouble with my 90Gl hexagon tank, that started to leak, and i blame the design.
The waterpressure was not distributed evenly, and that took it's toll after several years.
I didn't bother with resealing and gave the tank to someone who was gonna redo the sealing and keep turtles in it...

You still had adequate tanks around to put your fish in, for i know this was one of your bigger tanks?

But i seem to remember that you were not completely pleased with the swimming space that the sieve provided for your o's.
Not that that should be an excuse for the tank to start leaking. :angry:

Aww hun that sucks so bad! You don't think anything happen in the move? Nah, it would have showed up long before now!

That sucks but when i looked at the older thread of the oscars in the tub i laughed that is really funny i guesss you do what you can haha.

Well everyone is moving today! LOL... I have a feeling my Oscars will be mad at me for quite a while.

I have to move them to a different tank today and drain the leaking one.

But we finally closed on our new house last night so in 2 weeks we are moving. So they will have to be moved again...

Hopefully they wont pout too much!

Im so sorry you are having tank trouble again. Looks like you are in for some tank fixing or even tank buying!!!

Sorry to hear about the tank. Good luck with the move. Hopefully you can get the tank fixed in time for settling everyone in at their new gaff.

Nicki if the tank leaks too often, then try to change this tank, i passed through this problem, i tried many times to repair but no succes it always leaks down in just 3 to 4 months now i change my tank.
